“I have had a couple of projects completed by allstar and have been very happy with the customer service and the quality of work. When I was first looking for a contractor, I had heard good things and decided to give them a call and I am so happy I did. My first project was a remodel on my bathroom since I was trying to stay on a budget and I was incredibly happy with how it turned out. Charley helped me with the layout and picking out materials, which was a huge help. This year I was able to have Charley and his crew redo the deck, and the new one is just beautiful. So far all of the projects have been completed on time and it has been really wonderful to have such a good relationship with everyone there. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! First of all, the Google review is from an employee that currently works at All Star. This company is a joke and the owner is a greedy crook. Two and half years ago, this company did an almost $10k job on my deck. For that price, you think I would have received a new deck. Instead, it was a major repair/section 1 clearance (FYI, this deck is below the heavy snow line and is not high off the ground). Most of the boards/beams on my deck were replaced and the whole deck was pretty much exposed while they were working on it. I visited the job site and saw this for my own eyes. A couple months after they did the work, my deck started to badly sag. Two guys from the company came out and fixed the mess. They should have inspected the whole thing to make sure everything was done right. What if my family fell through this deck? Instead, they apologized and told me the foreman who supervised my job was inadequate and had been fired. They fixed the parts that were collapsing. I felt bad for them (as they were expanding into my area - small community where we try to help each other out) and when the deck boards they nailed down began popping up after their visit, I decided to be nice and just deal with it my self. This company also used the small nails (instead of bolts) to piece back the large posts on my deck railing. The deck railing became loose. To put it bluntly, they did a hack job on my deck. Fast forward two and a half years later. I'm selling the house and the buyer uses All Star for the pest inspection. Guess what? $2500 worth of work. I call to let them know my concern of the previous work not being done correctly. Mind you, I live in another state so I'm relying on their honesty to help me understand the scope of the job. He said it's a different section than before. This is mind boggling to me because the whole deck was pretty much opened up and replaced. I also had the deck stained after their work was completed. So, he gives me a measly $100 to shut me up. At this point, the work needs to be done so I agree. Then, when they open up the deck to do the work, the wood is crumbling. Another $1000. How am I supposed to trust that the work was done correctly in the first place when my deck was collapsing? What if one of my kids fell through the crumbling deck? So when I call the owner out on this B.S., the snooty little turd could care less. Horrible attitude and he said "you're just mad you have to pay an extra $1000". Duh! Of course I am! And you, as the owner of this company, have nothing to say for yourself and could care less about the poor quality of work your customer received. No apologies, nothing. And yes, I am furious and emotional when I call and he has zero empathy for me. At this point, escrow needs to close soon so I have no choice but to let them finish the work and they know this. Then, they threaten me with a property lien because they are afraid I'm not going to pay them (and the bill was already submitted to escrow). I had to pretend I was happy and kiss their rear ends because I was afraid they were going to slap a lien on my property and delay close. So moral of the story is: only use this company if you desire poor customer service, poor workmanship, headaches, and enjoy being subjected to the good 'ol bait and switch tactic. Learn from my costly mistake. And to all out of area customers: they know you can't see far. They will do everything they can to line their pockets when you aren't looking. Buyer Beware. Zero stars would be more aptly suited for this company.”
