“They came out to deal with rats at my house. They seemed professional enough at first. The day came for the exterminator to come out out baits and traps, and he didn't show up. We called and they said we didn't have an appointment set up, but that they would send him out the next day. Another day went by and the man still didn't show up. We finally got it all sorted out, and they did their job in the end. Just a little frustrating at first.”

“Signed up for a year with Cooks. They were more expensive but had a good reputation. Since I had fired 2 companies already, one for no show and one for not resolving my problem. I figured the extra money would be worth it. I told them over the phone and to the salesman ("technician" as they call him) that I had ants and if they didnt resolve or accomplish anything else that I wanted rid of the ants. After listening to very pushy sales tactics I reiterated my only need was to get rid of the ants. On first inspection no food source was found and everything was very clean. I was then told by the "tech" that it maybe the cleaner. I use Meyers everyday cleaner. Always have and never had an ant issue but whatever. I was promised no ants. So I switched cleaners. Even though it sounded ludacris. I was told they would come when I called within a reasonable amount of time as well as monthly visits. Well he sprayed and treated outside. Call if you need me was what i heard as he left. Well 2 days later I had ants crossing a threshold from outside to inside. I called the tech, told him about it and he said he would be out to treat the area. I told him I wouldnt be home but he would have access to area they were coming in. He said he came but I saw no evidence of him being there. Still had the ants in the same place. I called him back and we worked out a time where I could be home and he could make it. It just so happened to be on a Saturday which I dont mind wasting a Saturday as long as the ants are resolved. Well I got a no call, no show from the tech. Still havent heard from him and its been 3 weeks. So I called to cancel the contract. About 2 days after that I got a call from some manager type promising me the world if I would just stay on with them. I plainly told him that after 3 companies and lack of accomplishment and accountability on their part that I felt I could do just as well on my own. Then I was told they probably wouldnt waive the $247.50 cancelation fee. I told them I felt like it was breach of contract on their part and I should not have to pay for that. Especially since they hadnt actually accomplished anything. They said we will see and let you know. Today I got an unsigned letter from Cooks saying I owed the fee within 10 days. So I call the office immediately to talk to this mysterious man that supposidly made the decision that I needed to pay that cancellation fee. The letter wasnt signed in the signature area so I have no idea whom to ask for. I let the phone ring about 20 times. I either wanted to talk to someone or leave a message. So I just put phone on speaker with it ringing on their end. Finally someone answered. She looked into my address and said my account was canceled with 0 balance owed. I told her about the letter and she said again that it showed canceled with 0 balance. I said thank you. Hung up the phone and started writting this review. So here we are. I still have ants. Cooks never showed or called until I called to cancel. Then when they couldnt sell me on them again I get a cancellation bill for their breach of contract. Stay away from this office that is new to Lenoir City. Those of us that live in Lenoir City and most everywhere in America work hard for what little we have and are willing to pay for good service , expect people to be honest, do what they say they will do and show up when they say they will or be curtious enough to call and cancel. Our time off is important because we work hard during the week. So a no call no show is a waste of a Saturday or more to the point a day off. This company and the way they work have no business being here. Cooks in general and especially the Lenoir City branch”
