“I had a problem with what I thought was German roaches and some ants so I called several exterminators and got rates. I chose Hughes because they were very helpful and knowledgeable when I spoke to them, and their prices were competitive. They were able to send someone out the next day, who upon inspection found that we only had a minor problem with Brown Banded cockroaches and not Germans like I had thought. They adjusted the price down to a standard initial treatment saving me tons of money. Steve (inspector/exterminator) was very thorough and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions while completely treating our whole house inside and out. Since the initial treatment the only bugs I have seen inside are dead or dying. Very pleased with this company and would recommend them.”

“I normally don't post poor reviews but i did experience poor customer service here...the times I called into speak to the manager were great. The last couple times I called I spoke to a receptionist with terrible customer service. I'm taking over pest control for a property from my boss and needed information on what we did in the past to get a full picture so this required me calling 4 times in one month. Every time I called this particular receptionist would describe to me why I called the previous time according to her notes in the system. I'm not sure why she would do this as I remember clearly why I called in the past. Today I called to ask a new question and she interrupted me saying that I had already called about this. I was shocked at her rudeness and I told her I was calling to clarify something else. She said nothing has changed and that that's how it was. She really made me feel stupid and did not make me feel like a valued customer at all. I asked to speak to a manager but no manager was in...I'm sure their actual service is great but don't bother asking questions about invoices or expecting good customer service from the office.”
