I had issues with German roaches in which I personally did some research and try to manage the situation myself without positive results. Desperate to deal with the situation and no swing results on my approach I decided to call Orkin. Now after a couple of months in their service they have the issue under control and I haven’t seen any activity whatsoever in more than 2 months at this time. Technician Joe Acosta was very knowledgeable, strategical, and helpful in this process.

*UPDATE* 7/29/24 I connected with the Service Manager of the location and he was able to get this resolved without hesitation. Although my initial experience was not the greatest, the prompt resolution to this issue has given me some piece of mind regarding my decision to move forward with Orkin. *FIRST REVIEW* Off to a terrible start. A technician by the name Juan first visited our property and stated that Orkin would apply the first service discount of about $50, which would result in a charge of about $266. After bringing up a concern of rain he recommended we reschedule. He also mentioned that after looking at the property, the first service would be closer to $150 rather than $316 due to the condition of the house. Not really sure what he meant by this. Today 7/27/24, a tech named Dylan shows up to our appointment. He starts working, I asked a few questions to which he politely provided answers. Midway through the job I ask about the cost for the first visit and explain what Juan had mentioned, thinking there wouldn’t be any issues. After claiming that the cost was ~$300 and that he didn’t know why Juan mentioned that it wouldn’t be, he said before leaving he would call “the office” so we could work it out. He of course left without saying anything, I have a pending charge for $316 which wasn’t my expectation. I didn’t even get the first time discount of $50, and not even close to the $150 estimate that Juan had mentioned. I try to call the office and I get no answer. Orkin Customer Service redirects the call to the local office, so again, 0 resolution and a terrible start to this service.

Gavens was the last technician who came here and he was above and beyond helpful. So grateful he came to help me with these big Florida roaches ? I was afraid to touch even the dead ones and he scooped them up for me in the various places they were. Super professional, effective, informative and kind. The technicians are very knowledgeable- I feel like I really learn about these bug’s behavior. When I had a termite inspection the inspector was honest and taught me about the different kinds of termites- he even noticed a tree a few houses down that had termite damage. Love Orkin!

Daniel is the absolute best! He is very thorough and efficient and we have no issues. Today, when he came we received an alert from our doorbell camera and when we looked at the footage, he was telling our little dog through the door that he was a good boy for barking and protecting his home.
