I’ve been using Orkin for almost 2 years and I’m pleased with the company. Recently Cole has been the tech. He’s always courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The techs keep the scheduled time and the office will give you call ahead of time if the tech can’t make it. Which has happened maybe once or twice in the two years. No complaints from me. I always recommend them to friends. Update: 08/2024 I moved and transferred my service to my new house. I’m so glad did, the new house has ants infestation in the foundation and a bunch of hornets (brand new build 😩). Anyways they’re already fixing it. I met the my tech for this area Chris. He’s great. Like, Cole, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He spent the time to walk me through the issues and he assured me that this will be fixed. Again no complaints and I still recommend Orkin.

These guys do an amazing job and keeping my home and garden pest free. It’s an especially important or mosquito control because we spend so much time outside. William is our technician and he is polite, professional, friendly and I always wave Hello when I see him.

We use Orkin for outside pest control. We are very satisfied with the service. They give a 2 hour window for our service which is very convenient. The service tech does a thorough application. We get a detailed report after the service.

I have not had a pleasant experience with Orkin, and will most likely not use them after my service is complete. The first issue I had was that when I called to schedule my service it took me 3 times asking to get a price out of the representative I was speaking with. I had also told the representative that I needed my house treated for fleas and was never told that would not be part of the initial treatment and would have an additional cost. Come the day of my appointment, the inspector was very kind when she informed me of the extra cost and that it would need to be on a different day. She did mention that tithe information was clearly on the first page of the contract I was sent. However, I was never sent a contract from Orkin so there is no way I could have known without being told, which I expressed to her and she was very understanding. Things then took a turn for the worst when the actual exterminator showed up to treat the house and came to knock on my door and did not even give my wife, who was preparing the house (again because we were never provided a list of things to complete before the exterminator arrived) to answer the door and immediately left without so much as a phone call to try to get a hold of us. I then called the office in McKinney Texas and was answered by a very rude woman who said everything was my fault and that the exterminator waited 10 minutes before he left and would not have him come back, even though the job was blocked off for two hours and this was 5 minutes after he had left my house. Before I could even explain anything or try to reschedule the representative hung up on me. Thankfully I was able to call back and reschedule with someone different. Now I was able to get the flea treatment the following day and the exterminator that came out was far better then the one from the previous day and very polite and willing to work with my wife and I. Him and the inspector are the only reason I'm giving a rating of two stars. I'm not sure who is working out of the McKinney TX office, but they seriously need to work on their customer service and communication. As someone that is also in customer service, the way I was treated by people over the phone was unacceptable. Again, the only saving grace was the inspector and exterminator that came to treat for fleas, as they were polite and understanding and sympathetic about how my wife an I were treated. Overall though, this has been a very bad experience and do not recommend the Orkin office out of McKinney Texas.

Stephen did an excellent job as always. He is very professional and friendly and does a thorough job both inside and out. Stephen always tells me not to hesitate to contact him should I encounter any issues between treatments. I feel confident that when he is our service technician the job will be done right.

Cole, our route manager, has been wonderful. He has arrived for our service appointments on time, takes the time to explain what he’s going to do/what he did, if he found anything new to report, and answer any questions that we may have.
