After 25 years in 3 different states I will be ending my relationship with Terminix. Seems "pest" control really isn't their job any longer. Long story short. Asked for a tech to come out and help determine what was along our homes foundation. They never came out determined via texts it wasn't anything they could do anything about. And I don't need the social media email response. This company just lost a great longterm customer due to a lazy Tech in Bentonville Ar!!!

Had a technician come out and do an inspection and lay some bait and traps. The inspection report was not done accurately as I investigated some of the reports in the crawl space myself and cannot find some of the issues being reported. Not a biggie though. Where I’m mostly frustrated is that I have scheduled for an inspector 2 times and they have no call no showed on me both times. Calling support and all they can say is “I don’t know why he didn’t come.” Will probably be finding someone else for this.

I am baffled at the positive reviews, surely they must be fake. We have a membership with terminix for a year we already paid for. First of all, you can’t even call the local branch- it’s just the main office number. I called a week ago because of an animal issue in the crawl space- not a single person has called to set up a time to come trap it. I called again last week to check on it- “they are escalating it” was what I was told, heard nothing back. Called again today and the same story…run fast from this company. Meanwhile, who knows what damage is being done underneath our home. I wish we hadn’t already paid for the membership, horrible experience and certainly will not renew.

Got the bedbug service. Would not recommend. It was supposed to be every 2 weeks for 3 months for a total of 6 appointments. Techs came out once waited 3 weeks then came out again after a month, and we had to call multiple times to get them to come out. They did add on 2 extra treatments because we had to wait so long in between treatments. Paid $2400 dollars for nothing. It states in the contract they do not guarantee complete removal. We ended up throwing away a mattress and 2 loveseats, which helped them remove more pests then the actual treatment. Now we'll have to be out more money to get someone else in here to do the job properly.

Terminix comes to my house whenever I have not confirmed any appointments. They go in my fenced backyard with my animals and spray chemicals. Technicians are not knowledgeable about the chemicals they are spraying. Technician reports are not detailed and have duplicate photos on them from past services. They do not confirm what all was done at property on reports they just leave when finished. Now they are charging me $125 for a service I was unaware of and did not want done. Now they are threatening to send it to collections and report to the credit bureaus. Overall very unprofessional way of preforming a service agreement. Would never recommend. Plenty of other small pest control companies that care more about their customers!

We used Terminix for at least 20 years at our former home. Just having them spray the outside and take down cobwebs kept most bugs out of our home. We called every now and then for extra help with mice. The technicians (I think we only had two over all those years!) were always friendly and professional. When it was time to cancel, I was VERY disappointed in the runaround from the corporate office. I tried using the chat service, as the office phones weren't open yet. The chat person disappeared after "going to connect you to the right person." When I called, I was transferred again "to the right person" and the process involved stalling, re-asking for all of the identifying information about the account, and offers for me to settle up our balance then and/or transfer services to our new address. Finally, I held onto the line for the customer survey, where my response was met back with the robot saying, "I'm sorry. I can't hear you." The funny thing was I thought I'd already canceled-and when I mentioned it to my sister-in-law, she said they'd had the hardest time getting Terminix to stop coming to her mother-in-law's home they had sold. If you're considering using them, I'd suggest doing one-time services without creating an account, if that is possible in any way!
