It's like hitting multiple nuisances with one stone, and your wallet will thank you.
Barrier Against Bugs and Critters
Let's talk specifics. For a one-time pest control treatment, which includes a multi-point inspection inside and out, it will cost you between $250-$275. If pests decide to make an encore within 30 days, Terminix will encore their visit at no extra charge. Prefer ongoing protection? The quarterly plan, starting with a $99-$120 initial visit fee and a monthly fee of $40-$60, keeps the buggers at bay all year round.
Fortification Against Termites
When it comes to termites, don't play games; they're the ultimate home wreckers. Think of it as your home's personal shield against these wood-chomping villains, with prices adjustable based on your specific situation.
Mosquito-Free Summers
For those battling the buzz, the Quick Guard Mosquito Service starts working immediately for $150 per treatment. If you want to keep the mosquitos at bay all season, ongoing service during peak mosquito times goes for around $70 per visit. It's the difference between a summer of swatting and peaceful backyard barbecues.
**Updated to add: I emailed the requested info to Terminix weeks ago. And no surprise, I haven’t heard a thing in return! Still being scammed 🤷🏼♀️**
It feels like I’ve been scammed. I was quoted an unbelievable price to have my attic and crawl space cleared and patched up to prevent mice. I needed it done, so I agreed. They arrived as scheduled, and removed the insulation etc. They left without a word, never to be seen or heard from again. Robert, the inspector, told me they would do a thorough patch up of any holes or entry points for mice. This was never done. He also said they would patch up any tears in the screens on the crawl space. He also said the technicians would leave me traps to ensure that there were no mice in the attic or crawl space. And that mice would not be able to enter because of how thoroughly they would seal all entries inside and out.
So I wait and wait, and no one ever comes back. I call. I email. I fill out a survey. I even text Robert begging for someone to contact me so the job can be completed.
After about a month of no one answering me, I randomly hear from a technician named Jimmy. He assured me this was not in fact a scam, and that the instructions to repair and patch things “were never assigned”. He made it seem like this was an easy fix. He stopped by and assessed the situation, and said he’d be back in 3 days with replacement screens for my crawl space, and the necessary supplies to patch up any entry points.
Just as I suspected…I’ve never heard or seen anyone since that day. My service was done 2 1/2 months ago, and I’m paying for it. And yet the job was never completed. I’m essentially paying 9k to have mice coming in and out freely in a nice clean attic and crawl space, since their points of entry were never sealed.
To this day, I still have not reached a real person or anyone who has followed up. At this point, the entire service likely needs to be repeated since I’m sure the problem wasn’t ever resolved. Extremely poor communication (none at all, actually), poor services rendered, contract has not been honored, and no one seems to care. Yet I’m still making payments on this half incomplete service. Can someone from terminix actually contact me? This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone who actually needs pest control services.

The staff that works with you over the phone are kind and try to help. But they do not make the decision on service. So they get the 2 stars although they deserve higher. But the service is not worth the over $7,000 for squirrel removal and repair we are paying for. I have voiced complaints and the only thing done is some traps that are doing nothing. I have this awful trap sticking out of the side of my roof. They stuck some other traps on top on my house, came back got them with no communication to me! The original person shewed them out to look at the damage done, then he could tell me what needed to be done. But it's strange no one else can get them out so they can make the repairs. This is frustrating! If we stop paying it only hurts us because the company has been paid in full! The squirrels are having a great time. Destroying my siding because they chewed around the trap and I'm afraid my furnace is next. I have a senior citizen and an almost 5 year old and I can't afford the payment to Terminx and a new furnace. I just say make sure to find someone that can truly handle your problems. I'm gonna have to find someone to help me plus continue to pay them. I guess the better BBB is next. Beware if you call this company for anything other than regular spraying.

Would highly recommend not doing business with this company. If you choose to do so, I would suggest getting a second opinion first as in my experience their estimation of the scope of the issue and the needed repairs was greatly inflated versus a competitor. I experienced poor communication with myself as well as between different representatives in this company regarding work to be done and schedules. I’ve been billed for services not rendered and haven’t received a response for multiple business days.

Where are negative stars? They are scam. I made $6450 contract with them for raccoon damage and paid part of full amount at the beginning and in the middle of their job. I had to pay extra $1400 for extra job at some time point. So, it is total $7850 job.
1. I told them the raccoons are in the attic and I saw them. Three of techs confirmed it after I led them to see this wild life with their eyes. The worst thing is that raccoons returned this year even I paid $2180 last year. They just trapped to catch raccoons outside house not in the attic. They said that is their policy. What? Is that policy for possums? I saw and heard they trapped possum instead of raccoons. I have not heard they got a raccoon since last year.
2. I made contract to replace entire attic insulation, but they replaced it just half of them (You can see the photo). One of tech confirmed that it looks like half of work, but they always ignored it. Finally, they left raccoon toilet for 3 months in my attic which is not replaced with new insulation (You can see it in the photo). What they did do? Just finish half of work and hang out? Or someone stole the money? This is worst and worst part.
3. Extra $1400 job. I still had urine smell in small attic too. So, I requested to remove old insulation and install new one as same as my main attic job. But they just left old one and covered it with their insulation. My contract included pulling up attic bottom plywood, cleaning up, and installation of new insulation. But they did not finish it and did not comeback.
4. Liars. I complaint all of these to inspector R. Be careful of this guy. He always showed me a smile and he was nice guy when he made contract and got the money from me. I know he is very responsive, but he lied to me that techs are done with their job. He did not show up even I ask him to com and see what are issues here.
The operation manager T. I have requested refund for all I paid. He said it is approved, but I did not get it after one week. So, I called their national office to ask about refund status. Guess what? The office agent did not receive any refund submission from them especially from branch manager M. See, T lied to me. After tons of phone call to national office they just refund me only part of them. I waited one more week and had to requested dispute to my credit card company.
The branch manger M did not answer me ever never even after 2-3 times expedition requests.
Here, I cannot trust anything from Terminix and they should refund me $2180 for last year service as well.
If you want to know their (R, T, L) full name, phone number, and linked in information to avoid waste time and money, just email me.
Conclusions: Do not work with them. Furthermore, I recommend Google to make negative stars evaluation for Terminix. It is waste to give them even one star.

I was scheduled and got confirmation for Monday 9/9/2024 between the hours of 10AM-12PM with the tech name of Blake.. I took off work that morning to let the tech into my property. I waited until 12:10PM before calling to ask for an update on when the tech would be arriving. They told me that my appointment was not scheduled for 9/9. It was scheduled for 9/14. A SATURDAY. I know I did not make that appointment and knew that my confirmation and reminder from them said otherwise. There was zero communication up until this point. They advised that sometimes things happen and they do sometimes have to reschedule. I understood and told them a call would have been nice to see if that day and time worked for me. But they did not. She then offered to take my initial fee to $110.00 I thanked her for her help took the Saturday appointment even though it is a HUGE inconvenience. Fast forwarding to 3:00pm on 9/9. After I had been waiting over a hour passed scheduled time. I decided to go to work at 1:15PM. Because at this point I had lost more money for taken off that the initial fee cost. I received a email from the tech that was supposed to arrive with pictures of my front door and a invoice charge of $110.00. I called once again told them ALL THE ABOVE. and that I was not willing to pay for something that WAS NOT DONE!! They said they put in a email to the manager to call me… it is now 9/12. I haven’t heard from a sole. My appt is still scheduled for 9/14. But yet I got another email stating I have a pending charge for $163.00!!!! The original intial fee!! After they told me they would charge $110 for the lack of communication and inconvenience this company has caused me. So yet again. ANOTHER phone call to try to get a manager to contact me. What. A. Disaster!! Until someone shows up and takes care of the problem on the time that they are supposed too with communication I honestly do not want to give this company a cent. I’d be more than happy to change this review if I could at least get a call back from somebody to help me dissolve this issue!!

We lived in Kentucky back in 1995 thru ,2001 found we had termites it was horrible. So we called Terminix then and when we moved back in 2021 called them again. People don't realize the damage termites will do... always better safe than sorry!

Do not do business with the nicholasville office of terminix.
If there are any problems with the service or products you purchase, you will not be able to reach the Nicholasville office. They will not respond. You will be stuck trying to reach customer service at their national line, Customer service is apathetic.
Technicians pull up to your house, they will sit in their truck for several minutes and then pull away without performing services. I've caught them several times playing that trick. They don't perform the service yet I get charged as if they did perform their service.
I canceled my service almost 2 years ago for pest control for all their services in fact.
Their salesperson that sold me the garbage services and products visited my home recently. He's inspecting my home on the outside? I confront him to find out why he's at my home I don't have an account with him anymore. Did not give me a clear answer.
About a week after his visit I get a letter in the mail regarding a renewal notice for termite control?
I spent about 40 minutes with customer service to confirm that my account was closed. It was only placed on inactive status. They promised they would send me by email a letter confirming that my account is closed, I've met all my financial obligations. And they will not attempt to charge me for a service that I haven't had for over a year.
Still waiting for the letter. Given my experiences with this company, I am not going to get a letter.
If you are considering doing business with terminix, find out what office they work out of. If it is Nicholasville do not do business with them. Their management is unresponsive, their sales agent lies and makes promises that will not be kept, some of their technicians will not perform the services promised.
Please go to Better Business bureau, look at the reviews for Nicholasville office. You will see many people with very similar issues that I have had. I'm not just some isolated bitter exception.

There was some lack of communication from terminix since the tech way late and I recieved no call or notification. However the Tech did show, he had a good reason, and I understand things happen. Blake the technician was very thorough, friendly, professional, and took the time to answer any and all of my questions. I definitely continue using Terminix in the future
