While my experience with my tech was very nice I didn't get what I was promised. They told me I'd get an inspection and that never came. I paid over $200 in start up fees for my tech to lay down a few mouse traps. When I spoke with Orkin about this issue they were not very helpful in resolving my issue. They could of resolved it better. Not worth it to me and a waste of my money. They didn't do what they said they would and now I'm $200 poorer and have some mouse traps as a souvenir.

I would give them five stars for being able to come out the same day. I really appreciated that. But the sales person I initially talked to was dishonest. He said that we can cancel without penalty and that just was not true. Luckily, we had an awesome tech that came out that day to help us, but the transparency of the companies policies is very murky. For this reason, we will be choosing another company to work with. I felt very pushed into services we didn’t want, and after I declined needing services for mosquitoes, we were still charged for them anyways (it’s November in Iowa….) I rate the technician that came to see us a 10 out of 10. An amazing guy. The people from corporate or whoever you talk to initially on the phone or just trying to sell services and are not transparent. So just be mindful of that.

My Orkin tech’s name is Josh. He provides great service and is enjoyable to chat with. He doesn’t mind if I ask questions or have him pay closer attention to certain pests, bugs, etc… Josh always lets me know I can call if I need them to come back out in between my scheduled services. He also does a great job of accommodating (within reason) the schedule if there’s a best time or conflict. Most important, we live in the woods and our mice and bug problem is almost non existent.
