Terrible experience with Orkin. We had constant ants throughout their contract with us. When I tried to get additional services to resolve this, their technician did not call when he arrived so I wasn't able to help him inside as I had stepped out. Their technicians do not arrive at scheduled times and their pest control does not work. When I went to cancel, the still charged me $313 to cancel my contract early and did not even tell me this over the phone as I was cancelling. I later found the charge on my card. Orkin is still refusing to refund this despite my effort to resolve this prior to cancelling, and my justification to cancel.

I called to ask for a pest report. Very nice people. Someone called me back in less than an hour after initiating my request. I was given an appointment time for the next day. The representative showed up over an hour late. He looked around and said he'd send me a report with a quote in less than an hour. Three days passed and no report. I text the guy but didn't get a response. I called and spoke to him the next day. He said he'd have the report ready for me by the end of the day. Nothing. I called the main number again. Everybody seems really nice, but I was still put off for another day. Let's see if they get me that report by tomorrow. I'm the mean time, rats are literally running over our feet straight into the restaurant next door. Yuck!!!

I contacted Orkin by phone on a Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment for the following week, they were said they would call me back Saturday morning, didn't hear from them until the following Tuesday John contacted me and said Carl would be there 3:15 on Thursday. They were a no show and John did not return my calls or texts and I know it was the right number because he texted me previously. They must need need new business.

I had them come out to my business to get a quote. We were quoted $99/month. I inquired about not having a contract and giving early notice 60 days is what they say the same day of service then later they say no contract and add 20-30 dollars then next day he says I talked to the manager and it will be $700. None of this was clearly communicated. This poorly run business has no idea what they are doing on the business end and are just trying to set people into contracts to rip them off. All of this was recorded on video and all discussions were recording on video. The review alone will cause more loss in business for them at this point then their poor sales tactics.

I spoke with Stephanie, who understood my issue and educated on me on the suggested solution. Not to mention, she offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse? Our Orkin man, Rolando , is too funny! Loved his sense of humor. He definitely made us feel comfortable in knowing that we were taken care of! But that’s just Our Orkin man. Now we have to see how well the service is with getting rid of these critters. Will up date as we go!

Quarterly service with unlimited return visits as needed; serviced entire home and yard perimeter for insects with special attention to black widow spiders which are a problem at my property historically. Gave advice for gopher abatement, which is a big problem this year. Friendly technician spent a good amount of time listening to experiences of gophers destroying my neighbor’s and my own lawns and gardens this past year, checked rodent activity and identified which type, and gave Orkin service options as well as DIY options. I’ve been using their service for years and recommend it all the time.

The intimation system sometimes is not reliable but the office quickly responds to changes requested. All the technicians have been very professional and thorough. Quite happy with this service and with just an outside of the house seasonal spray, we are quite bug free.

This is a great service operation. John is a terrific tech and before him Tuan was like a member of the family for 15- 20 years. What I like about Orkin is that I can have the same technician time after time rather than getting somebody different each time. They get to know my home and what I’m trying to accomplish with extermination. They are like friends of the family. You must be doing a good job to retain your people. Thank you. Treat them good because they treat us very well.

John did a great job. Was not happy with the scheduling department. Was told when I requested a day and time that it would be on the 30th and was changed to the 31st of January. Had to change my time to be home.
