Orkin has been our pest company for over 30 years. The service has remained good all through the years. Their technology has changed to keep up with the times. They have quieter machines. They communicate by text to let you know when they are coming and going. Billing is paperless. A very good company.

Horrific ! ! The service person failed to show up during the service time window. This was of particular issue when cutting my workday short, rush home to address problem areas, only to realize he already left. Then didn’t return to finish the service. This kind of disappointment and inconvenience happened on multiple occasions. The last straw was when he arrive and packed up before the service window even began. Reviewed video footage, it appeared that he rang the door bell however my dog (Two year old with king hearing who loses her mind in a barking fits when people come to the door) didn’t move a muscle. He wasn’t setting any speed records and managed to invest almost 10 minutes performing the service. Thanks over $10 a minute for what I feel was incomplete and subpar work with a dash of poor time management to round out a disappointing experience. Fired Orkin, for tolerating this level of customer service from their people. I don't mind paying for quality products however when I do the expectation is to receive monochrome of quality. Just facts with a large dash of my opinion…

The technician who came out was very knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. He was quick with the service and answered all of my questions. My problem lies with the representative who scheduled my appointment. She was kind and professional, but flat out lied about what my technician would be able to do for me. We have a growing wasp/mud dobber population around the second story of my house and I was told the technician would be able to spray for and get rid of. Come to find out they only spray for ground bugs, and can’t really do anything for wasps/mud dobbers except knock their houses down. I paid $200 for someone to tell me to basically go buy wasp spray. He said the phone reps are basically not knowledgeable enough to make those kind of promises. What a scam. Edit: Called customer service and they took an extra $50 off and cancelled future service. Seems reasonable since they did spray in and out for other bugs. I feel their solution and resolution time was reasonable.

I wish I could leave zero stars. When I first switched to them the service technician I had was phenomenal. He was informative and thorough. 2nd technician was the same. The new technician was horrible. He was not friendly and seemed annoyed that we were calling for break throughs that were occurring; which prompted a call every few days due to mounds of ant beds popping up after treatment. 14 mounds! Keep in mind I’ve had their service nearly 2 years, and only once after I get the new tech were there multiple occurrences. After several recalls to the property, I finally understand that he is not treating the entire property just 3 ft outside of the home structure, which is barely beyond the patio in the back not even half of the yard in front nor side. He stated it’s in my contract , this 3ft rule. The rule means that they can’t tree beyond 3 ft of the house structure, regardless the size of your property. I asked for a copy of this contract; and nowhere is this stated. Furthermore, when I signed up for service, no mention of this rule was given nor any additional quote for the size of my lot. If so, no issue would have been made as we would have happily paid this new fee. It’s been 2 days and no service nor office manager has called me back.

David arrives every month to spray our property. He is always so nice and cheerful. He is always in the time window. I have kids and pets and can never seem to have all the toys picked up outside before he gets here but he’s very careful around everything.

My tech is good. He explained a few things about the spray to help me understand that even if it is damp the effect will be upheld. I started using Orkin because of their reputation after another company didn’t work out. It’s been a couple of years. Yep - you pay a premium, but I’ve discovered over the past many years that consistency, communication, and quality are really important with pest control. Techs may vary within the company, but with Orkin, they will be consistently responsive and congenial. Thank you, Rodney!

6-27-24: We had a much better experience with Orkin Pest Control today. 😊 A manager came out to address all our issues and concerns. 👍 They were extremely thorough, removing both the stove and refrigerator to check for droppings. 🐭 The attention to detail and commitment to resolving our problems were impressive. 🛠️ We’re very satisfied with the service and quick resolution of our issue and concerns. --- 6-26-24: We had an Orkin rep come out today, and it was a complete disaster. 😡 She didn't comprehend English and couldn't explain anything or listen to our concerns. We specifically need an English-speaking representative! She even placed traps in the walkway where we have a 4lb Yorkie 🐶 and a newborn 👶! When we called to address the issue, the call center was no help at all and wouldn't even page the on-call representative. Absolutely horrible experience. 🚫🪤
