“I would not recommend this company. I have had an account with them for 17 years and recently I was doing new siding on my house and live termites were found, this company was not helpful in guiding me with the process. I didn't want to delay my contractors so I immediately called West Termite and a technician came out looked at the wall, it was not told to me at anytime that they had to see the termites in action. I was told to call them back when everything was torn out. I didn't realize that my termite policy would pay for repairs in the event of damage so I went on with the remodeling project and paid my contractors an additional fee to handle the damage. When it was brought to my attention that my termite company should be responsible for the damage and repairs I promptly called back and was told it was old damage and that they needed to see live action, I told this to my contractors who promptly took video and pictures from the wall that had not been replaced yet and saved me a bucket of live termites for West. I then called them back and was told it is all in my contract, my ignorance for not reading it line by line and understanding it. If you are looking for a company to take care of you if something comes up this company is not the one. I was a happy customer for 17 years because I didn't need anything so I would recommend you look elsewhere for a good company that will stand by you and guide you in the event of termites. I will cut my losses and look for a new company and I will ask questions before choosing my next company. I want a company that doesn't expect me to be the expert on their contract and will guide me. All of this could have been solved by simply telling me when I initially called in that there was a process that needed to be followed.”
