“I called Chet's at the recommendation of a friend who had used them and had a positive experience. I had a cabinet which had the sawdust-like kick out from a dry wood termite infestation. My regular pest control guy, who doesn't do termite, suggested removing and treating the cabinet, I chose to scrap the whole thing rather than chance it. I called Chet's to come inspect as a precaution; Chet himself and a co-worker came out less than 48 hours after my call. There were no other signs of termites elsewhere in the house, the cabinet infestation had not gotten to the point where they swarmed, they inspected the cabinet before I took it to the trash dump to confirm that's what was in it and while they could have easily sold me on just about any preventative measure they could come up with, they didn't. The recommendation was to watch the rest of the house closely for the signs that I already saw on the bad cabinet and a few other things they gave me to look for; there was no charge for the inspection, no attempt to sell me on something that would be ineffective, etc. Very happy with the experience.”

“ORANGE OIL DOES NOT WORK. CHET'S DOES NOT HONOR HIS WORD FOR GETTING RID OF THE TERMITES. He says it's 100% GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK... and there is no Astrix. But when you speak with him personally after the fact, he will tell you that it's only for the boards that he treats with the orange oil. I had both my house and office treated with the Orange Oil for drywood termites. The orange oil smelled horrible and everyone was walking around with tingling tongues and coughing. My office tenant had a asthma attack because of it. Horrible stuff. We also found out, later... that it is FLAMMABLE. It's like pouring gasoline down your walls. Within a couple of weeks, we had to re-treat because it didn't work and we still had swarming termites. We re-treated multiple times, for a couple of years, and it never worked and the termites just got worse. We found exit holes with termite poop falling all over our floor. I called Chet personally and he told me that the Orange OIL would treat THE WOOD THEY TREATED AND NO MORE. Is that my problem that he can't find the termites - after SELLING me the fact that it was guaranteed and would absolutely work?? Now he says it's not his problem. Orange Oil did not work in two offices and a house. We had to tent. Chet did not honor his word. I am a small business owner myself. I would never do business like that. Very disappointed in Chet and the whole crew over there.”
