After 8 years of consecutive service and thousands of dollars spent we canceled our service. We called to get the tech sooner than scheduled due to a wasp problem and when he came he sprayed it with a can and said he didn't do attics and a specialist would come. When that specialist came she did the same thing sprayed it with a can, looked in the attic and said she couldn't go up there despite and tried to sell us some pest control boards. That was news to us because our first few techs would go into the attic and pray as well and not just the perimeter. She then did a whole perimeter check and wanted to sell us a termite treatment when we called for wasps. We then contacted the office several times to get the situation handled but they would say we would get a call back from a manager and that call never happened. I called last week and asked to cancel the service and they said the manager would call and again no call. I called again this week to cancel and finally today we got a hold of the manager. After telling him the issue he offered a discount and not a full solution as well as said he hadn't heard of us calling until to speak to him until today. When I came home dates of when we both called he cut the conversation short and hung up without letting me know how we would be getting a cancellation confirmation. 8 years just thrown down the drain. I highly suggest getting the service for what is needed and cancel after because it's a waste of time and money. They do not value their customers.

Brian came to our house this morning and went above and beyond. He moved his truck to different locations for the truck hose to reach all over my house. He sprayed in the eaves where the wasps set up nests. And did a thorough job spraying inside and out. We really appreciate the long time he spent on our home.

EXCELLENT customer service. Wesley contacted us the same afternoon that we called in and was at my house at 7:54 the following morning and was easy to talk with and very professional,AND then the icing on the cake was when Toad and Red appeared to take complete and thorough care of our termite problems. In my opinion they all deserve a raise. Will only call on Orkin in the future.

It started off great. But this last time I have already had to reschedule 5 times. The first time this month I had to call and tell them to come 3pm or after, like every month. When they rescheduled it was for the Friday from 4-6. No one showed up. The got a text saying they rescheduled for another day from 2-4. I got a text saying they were at my house at 2:30. I was on my way home at that time. I was maybe 15 minutes away. They didn’t wait. So I called and rescheduled for today 4-6. Got a text saying the person was here. I am home. No one was at my house. I have told them since the beginning that i don’t get off work until 2:30 and home at 3.

We have cancelled our Orkin service. Danny, our regular serviceman, is awesome but it is rare that he ever comes anymore because he is constantly getting sent all over the place to fill in for vacant service areas. We are constantly getting new employees who do sub-par service. It is even rarer that we get the same service tech twice in a row now. I understand that it is hard to keep employees these days but we have been dealing with this from Orkin for a few years now and it is time for a change. In a service industry like Orkin, familiarity is key when you are trusting someone in your home, no matter how many background checks they run. Before moving to our current location we had Orkin for years and it was the same service tech the entire time. It even came to the point back then that the tech was given a key to our home which is unheard of for us. I do believe that overall Orkin is a good company that provides good service. It is simply my personal preference in dealing with the constant flow of changing service techs and the lack of adequate service from the seemingly short term employees. I have dealt with other National companies in the past and Orkin is far, far better than any of the ones I have done business with, but I think it’s time to give a local “mom and pop” business a try.

I called for an inspection they scheduled a few days away, and the inspector was in the area and asked if she could come the same day 15 min from calling. Termite treatment is what I needed inspector had 15 or more years of experience she pointed out everything that I did not know was an issue then drew up plans for treatment. less than a week the team of guys showed up and treated my property. I would recommend using them to anyone for termites because they don’t play around and you will get what you pay for I chose the 5 year treatment warranty $4,200.00 they come out one time every year after treatment to check bate stations for replacement. They also have a 3 year plan but I recommendation is go with the 5 year plan. They put a 6in trench around my house of poison, put foam in my walls, and about 35 bate stations
