I called to get bug service and they were so prompt came out the next day. Decided to add on termite and they got me scheduled for the very next day after that. everyone was so helpful and Answered all my questions with no issues. The inspector and service agents were very good and all did a fantastic job. However, I was most impressed with Gale as before he even entered my house, he put booties on which I found to be great as the attic and things that were being serviced were upstairs in my house where I don’t even normally wear shoes. This courtesy did not go unnoticed and I really appreciate it. this is a fantastic company and everyone has done a great job so far

Joe is great provides excellent customer service. It’s always a joy to see him And he doesn’t excellent job.
However, I have an issue that has not been resolved and it has not been Joe‘s problem rather issue with getting an appointment with a technician that has a high enough ladder to reach my tall ceilings where there is termite activity and I cannot seem to get an appointment scheduled Because they don’t have enough folks with tall ladders.

Joe (The Terminix technician) was communicative before the service to confirm our appointment and called day of to let us know he was on the way. We had some termite issues outside our back door framing. He was very thorough and found additional issues inside of our back door and remedied the current issues. I would recommend Terminix and specifically the technician Joe for service with termites.

Terrible customer service and lack of communication. The night before termite fumigation I was told if anything was left in the refrigerator I could throw it away later. On my Ring camera I noticed they showed up to tent the house and left without doing so. Two hours later I call, because no one had called me and they told me it was because there was food left in the refrigerator. I chalked up to a miscommunication but tenting could not be rescheduled for 6-7 weeks. I was told I would be out of the house for two nights and that someone would call to let me know when it was safe to return. No one called the day I was expecting to hear from them so I reached out to my salesperson the next day (he had previously told me to go through him rather than call Terminix-I presume he was spoken to about my previous issue) so I reached out to out to him with no reply, I call terminix and they reach out to him with no reply. The next day (so at this point I have been out of the house for four nights) I stood by the house (I was staying an hour away so it wasn’t convenient to pop over) and there was a sign on the house saying it was cleared two days prior. Absolutely no communication from anyone telling me this was the case (even as of today a week later). The timing was extremely inconvenient to move back into the house as I am a teacher and it was the first day of school. Certainly moving back in on the weekend when I was supposed to would have been ideal. I heard back from my salesperson who said he doesn’t work on Sundays which is why I didn’t hear from him the day before and the fumigation company should have called me. I called Terminix again and asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available but my complain would be flagged to be raised to the highest level and either a manager or someone from the complaints department would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I have yet to hear from anyone. I have now called to cancel all of my service and am again told I will hear from a manager in 24-48 hours. I’m not holding my breath and for me it is too late anyway. There are only two stars because the attic insulation was done, the service techs were outstanding, and I am already seeing a benefit. Didn’t see much results from my first pest control appointment but wasn’t too bothered since I knew the fumigation would be happening. Above all, customer service should be paramount and it is not.

I am posting this review hoping to bring attention to a matter that continues to be an issue. Let’s start with our technician today. She was excellent in communication and service. However she told us she received a message from her boss that we are due for our annual renewal ($). She was prepared to have us pay at that point. I suggested she have someone from the office call me today after 10:30 am. as we are betting she is only following orders. No one called. I was prepared to tell them that according to our records , we aren’t due to renew until December. Why would we pay in August (she indicated we are due in September ~ wrong.). If this was merely a one-time thing we would discount it as such. But last September a technician came to the house for a rodent issue and we bought 2 years of rodent protection. She was also told to tell us we are due for a renewal. While she was here I brought out my file to show her our last bill where we prepaid for 2 years of coverage. She called it in while standing in front of us. Her office confirmed we were right. Now that this “oversight” has happened twice we are creating this awareness to other customers or potential customers.

We have been using Terminix services for many years and Robert Negrete, our Service technician, has provided us with a great experience throughout all these years. We have consistently received an excellent service from Robert. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, responsible and respectful. He arrives during the anticipated times and is always happy and willing to assist us with additional pest control requests. We highly recommend Robert as your Service technician for pest control.

I’d like to share the details of an experience that I can only describe as a “Three Ring Circus of Stupidity”. My wife and I found a rodent presence in the attic of our rental property. We engaged multiple companies to remove them and many of them would not simply remove the rodents, they want to execute a “rodent exclusion” system which prevents future rodents from finding their way into your home.
Terminix was one of the companies engaged, and to our surprise, had the lowest cost, of $3,500. For this price, they would provide mesh along the bottom of the house, whose sole purpose is to prevent rodents from entering in the future. After that, they would place traps in our attic and remove any rodent corpses that they find over a period of several weeks.
Problem #1: This “process” was supposed to take several weeks due to the trap and removal of the rodents. However, the installation of the mesh took over 4 weeks! How is this possible? The house is under one thousand square feet. Well, the “technicians” that they send will only work on your home one day per week! This means that if you identify any issues, such as the issues shown within the pictures included in this review, you need to call up Terminix, tell them about your dissatisfaction, and wait a WEEK before that “technician” will come back to repair the mess that they created. My favorite example was the wrapping of the mesh around our sprinkler head, which then attached it to the wall! Yes, the “technician” did this, and must have said, “yep, looks good”, and walked away from the job, thinking “mission accomplished”. We found several issues and sent photos to the manager of this “technician”. To say that he was unhelpful was an understatement. He came by once, out of the 4 weeks, to say, “yeah, that’s a problem”, and “we’ll fix it”. We spent two more weeks going back and forth with this manager. I’ve uploaded a copy of a text exchange asking for him to come review the work, and he thought it “wasn’t necessary”. There was zero accountability.
Problem #2: They take your money as soon as they possibly can. As part of the service engagement, they require details for an ECH payment or “electronic check”. This seems fine at first, however, apparently, their system is “ticket-based”, and each visit is a single ticket. After creating the disaster of an installation, the “technician” left, closed the ticket and Terminix withdrew the entirety of the $3,500 payment. At this point, the job was only half done! The mesh was not fully installed around the house. This was before we could review the work and find the shoddy product that was installed. It was full of gaps and holes that any rodent could use for entry. This leaves you entirely powerless from a customer perspective. Your only choice is to call Customer Support, in the hopes that they can do something to escalate to resolution. This is reprehensible, and, in my opinion, borders on theft and fraud.
Problem #3: You will spend days of your own time playing the role of Project Manager, Quality Assurance and Communications Manager, and you will pay at least $3,500 for this privilege. There is no accountability anywhere in this process, or within this company, as far as I can tell.
Problem #4: I had four service contracts across two houses. I called up Customer Service and asked them to cancel the services on one of the two houses. We went over the addresses and services multiple times. They cancelled the wrong services, and after confirming that some services were canceled, I was billed AGAIN for them. Another call, and they told me that they could reactivate the services that had been incorrectly cancelled, I replied with “Don’t bother, you guys have no idea what you’re doing. I’ll keep my money, thanks.”
I didn’t see my refund, so I called again. I found out that the refund “wasn’t processed correctly and was never executed”. After six calls, most services are canceled, and I have received my refund. Avoid this company at all costs!
